About 2025 AMEC

Background

2025 AMEC

The JCI Africa and the Middle East Conference (AMEC) is an annual gathering of approximately 500 young active citizens from across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. We believe that the most significant positive impacts in the world begin with individuals taking action.

This conference serves as a platform for leaders, entrepreneurs, partners, and stakeholders from around the globe to come together, combining their energy and expertise to create meaningful change in their communities and the world.

AMEC 2024, hosted in South Africa, will offer delegates a unique opportunity to participate in inspiring sessions, impactful business and networking forums, as well as empowering training and workshops. Beyond the sessions, delegates will enjoy memorable and joyful experiences, including the chance to explore South Africa’s vibrant cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes.
